Experts survey results between listening areas

First results of the expert survey on listening areas

John Mayer and Florian Straub

So far, 17 people participated in the survey. For this we would like to thank Ann Marie Ackermann, Wilken Agster, Nils Anthes, Stefan Buchner, Willy Buhl, Andreas Hachenberg, Daniel Kratzer, Rudolf scratches, Christoph Moning, Luis Ramos, Markus Römer, Markus Schmid, Michael Schraut, Roland Steiner and Zsolt Végvári thanks. To assess the experience of ornithologists, multiple personal parameters were queried. Among other things, the number of breeding birds carried out mapping. The results can be seen from the diagram below.

Due to the still small sample size in the intermediate results are not yet derivable to all species, the desired statements. While for some species, the estimates are very close together and a normal distribution emerges (such as red-backed shrike), sprinkle the estimates of other species far and priorities are still not evident (eg wood pigeon). The following are some examples of analysis are presented.
The shrike is distinguished from a classical normal distribution, with a culmination at 100 m. Still appreciate the many ornithologists earshot as better. To the planning of mapping or in the calculation of population densities from Transektzählungen "on the safe side" to be - when in doubt, more of a corporate as an over-estimation of the stock in purchase - would recommend it to the listening area for this kind to be set at 150 meters.

The estimates for the listening area the Goldcrest vary between 20 and 100 m. A major focus is between 50 and 80 m to identify. Hence, the recommendation would be derived when listening area to be set for this type 80m.
The details of the hearing range of wood pigeons vary widely. The estimates vary between 50 and 400 m. A major focus is not visible. A recommendation for a listening area can not be derived. In this type shows that the limits are reached the assessment method. Hence, the demand for targeted investigation would lead to precise measurements.

In conclusion, results from the first interim analysis, the sample size for an assessment of the listening areas of all types is still not sufficient. Desirable would be an interest of at least 50 ornithologists, in order to make the most species are first sufficiently accurate Hörbereichsabschätzung. It should be noted that if for some species with a larger sample of this target can not be achieved. These species may, however, identified by the expert survey and following a detailed investigation is therefore necessary.

What To Do If Dog Eats Ibuprofen

BOW TO THE LYCANCYCLER CULT

2010 seems a good year for all sorts of extreme music to be - especially the death / black scene flourishes with more than pound-quality releases of bands like Vasaeleth, Encoffination Dispirit or how long no longer. Satan's Satyrs have with this direction but tend not got anything lined, but loosely in the ranks immaculate demo tape to promise the big bucks.

The two young Ziegenanbeter Claythanas and The Ghoul of Virginia have delivered with their more or less current demo is a surprisingly fresh interlude somewhere recently between classical Black Flag'scher punk Viehtreiberei, the textual realms of Witchfinder General and Pentagram and the attitude Darkthrone releases are out here fired three songs that make one's cheeks red beam with joy.

With "Lycancycler Cult" is the guys even managed a real hit, what distinguishes the occult Boys of many similar, but worse 'performed' Bands kindly. Not to mention the wonderfully musty organ sounds in the last track - worship or be a whimp!

Myspace Platter and it shot me back into the lamp: For too long I had Bill Callahan, the shy, gifted songwriter from the States ignored. When I got to know his music, he had arrived with her already in the feature pages and was known for two albums under his real name. Above-mentioned album was his latest disk, and swaying so mischievous and concise, so delicate and soft as butter in the ears, that I now considered part of the musical highlight of last year. Mr. Callahan sounded elated but not always so and laconic: The 13 years older, "The Doctor Came At Dawn" acts contrary torn almost bleak, dimly lit and internally. An album that musically right between the chairs sat and represented a turning point in his sparse until then Lo-fi sound. In the more produced it was a little musical, raufaserige strings and a distorted piano relined in a few songs, the bare sound garment, which was orchestrated painfully sparse and consisted only of an acoustic guitar and his unmistakable voice. It is unnecessary to mention how heart-rending yet elegant, it even sounds like when he mumbles his lines with low-quality baritone full amt before him. Who knows his music, knows also what a witty, sarcastic guy Bill Callahan actually. In his dark humorous lyrics he knew it even then always with the Depressive a cynical eye. ".. The water demon's eyes are pink and green, scales of silver mirror mesmerize, the most beautiful thing you've ever seen, spits bile into your eye." Dark lines, also known by the fact that he and every other board a jet could look in more sunlight and always a bit more carefree, was never seriously in the stomach.
